BY CAR:
Take the coastal road (West) to Salinas. When arriving in Santa Elena, two villages before Salinas, take the detour to Montañita (North). The road drives along the coast. After approx. one hour drive by the Pacific Ocean you will reach Las Tunas. One kilometer after Las Tunas you will find VIEJAMAR. Total distance is approx. 230 kilometers.

PLANE
Board the plane in Quito for Manta. In Manta take a bus to Puerto Lopez, in Puerto Lopez take another bus to Las Tunas. VIEJAMAR is located one kilometer before arriving in Las Tunas, surrounded by beautiful tropical rainforest and at the water’s edge. Puerto Lopez is some 630 kilometers from Quito. Las Tunas (VIEJAMAR) is about 16 kilometers from Puerto Lopez.

BY BUS:
From Guayaquil’s Terminal Terrestre, take the bus to Santa Elena or Montañita (CLP buses, depart every 20 minutes). From either of these villages (Santa Elena or Montañita), take another bus to Puerto Lopez and ask the driver to drop you off one kilometer after Las Tunas (VIEJAMAR).
The trip is a fascinating combination of Ecuadorian people and the natural beauty of the country. Both the vegetation and the Pacific Ocean will provide with beautiful scenery up until you arrival to VIEJAMAR.
